Nein, meiner "brummt" nicht, zumindest nicht so, dass ich es deutlich vernehmen konnten. Deinen Ausführung nach, ist es ja relativ deutlich zu hören.

Naja, was heist deutlich.... ich hab mich eben darauf fixiert... und bei stille im Raum höre ich es aus 2m immer noch.... meine Frau nicht, aber die interessiert das auch nicht :-)

Wenn Du Dein Ohr vor die Endstufe hälst, dann hörst Du nichts? Falls das so ist würde ich mich nämlich um einen neuen Trafo kümmern....

@Angus Vielen Dank für den Tip mit dem Omtec. Habe es heute mal ausprobiert, hilft aber auch nichts. Vielleicht ist es minimal leiser dadurch, kann aber auch Einbildung sein.

Werde heute Abend mal testen, ob mein Ohr sensibel genug ist, in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Poweramp ein Brummen auszumachen.

Aber ich weiss aus dem Stehgreif - ohne einen Test zu veranstalten, dass ich aus 2m Entfernung nichts von diesem Brummen vernehmen kann; und ich bilde mir ein, über gute Ohren bzw. eine hinreichende Wahrnehmung zu verfügen.

Weiss nicht, wie empfindlich Du bist; aber Deiner Schilderung nach, scheint der SP-T300 bei Dir tatsächlich nicht ganz i.O. zu sein.

Nächster Schritt in der unendlichen Geschichte.....

Werde wohl mit etwas Glück einen Ersatztrafo bekommen (Versand wird bestimmt teuer.... ). Hoffe mal, dass dann RUHE ist. Falls nicht steht die Endstufe zum Verkauf......

Nö, das machen die nicht. Aber mein chinesischer Händler besorgt das Teil bei Sheng Ya direkt. Scheint wohl zu klappen.....

Hello,
I bought the SA-T3 and SP-T300. I don't speak German (sorry!!) and I'm from Portugal.

If I understood correctly, the SA-T3 has:
3x 12AX7
1x 6Z4 -> the front valve

And the SP-T300 has the:
1x 12AU7

As I've read on the Internet, the amplifiers sound can be improved if I exchange the tubes. Do you think Svetlana tubes would be good? Or some other brand?

Hi Movie_Fan!

Sorry for the delay in answering your question.

You are right. Preamp has 3x12AX7. I have many Tubes in the Preamp. To my mind (and with simultaneous consideration of my other equipment) the JAN Philips NOS sounded best to my ears.

I have tested 6Z4 NOS but it sounds awful, the stock tube will be the best choice.

I tested some other tubes in the Poweramp, but the stock tube will be the best one i think.

I have not tested Svetlana Tubes until now.

Hmmm... Englisch ist schon etwas eingerostet....

Naja. Neuigkeiten zu meinem Trafo-Problem:

Ich bekomme ein Ersatzteil aus China. Kostenpunkt 55,-- USD. Für einen so dicken Trafo ist das mal mehr als fair, denke ich. Sheng Ya hätte den auch auf Garantie ausgetauscht, aber dann hätte ich den alten da hinschicken müssen

Versandkosten muss ich natürlich tragen (weeiha!!) aber das ist eben so.

Insgesamt für mich bisher absolut zufriedenstellend.

Ach ja, noch was: Ein Freund von mir hat die T100 Endstufen. Die summen auch, aber gaaaaaanz leise, das höre ich aus 50cm schon nicht mehr.

Zu meiner Nervensäge kein Vergleich!

Hoffe mal, alles regelt sich - die Geräte sind vom Sound nämlich immer noch genial.

Yes, i`ve got a problem with me Power-Amplifier. The sealed transformer produces a nasty hum since the last 4 weeks. And the hum increases more and more. Its a problem with the power transformer (mechanical hum). Maybe the problem results on the rough shipping by DHL (the bottom plate of the unit was a little bumped...).

But i ordered a new power transformer as a spare part for about 55,-- USD now (without shipping.....).

So, if you have any further questions, just ask

Well, how odd... my SP-T300's face plate arrived with a bump, also...

But i ordered a new power transformer as a spare part for about 55,-- USD now (without shipping.....).

I'm not very into this, but that doesn't seem very expensive (without shipping....)

To my mind the shipping packages are not strong enough. A bump on the front-plate..... what a shame

The bottom plate was easy to fix - but the front plate won`t....

I think the price for the spare-part is OK, but the shipping costs will be extraordinary.....

Have some fun with your T3 / T300. Its a great deal.

It's seems as if I had much luck in shipping my SA-T3 and SP-T300 from China in regard to your (astonishing) stories. I did never consider receiving any damage or additonal risks (humming trafo) when buying hifidelity items in China, but I am more and more aware of the tentative problems right now.

Nevertheless, I am still (!) convinced about the sonical performance of the Shengya combination. A colleage of mine recently asked to purchase the same pre-/poweramp amp combo in China, but our dealers mentioned that these items are no longer available. Instead there should be some successor amplifiers out within the next weeks. So far Shengya's homepage doesn't offer any further information. Let's wait and see, perhaps our chinese forum member Tim knows newer particulars.

In the meantime, all the best to your new "trafo" thargor. How about installation? Easy task?

Das Design gefällt mir, nicht schlecht. Was mich nur wundert ist, dass die Beschriftung auf den Geräten in chinesisch ist, glaube deshalb nicht, das Vincent auf den Zug aufspringen wird, aber ist ja auch egal...

Nicht nur eine heisse Info, sondern scheinbar geniale Komponenten. Mein Kollege, der derzeit vor Ort in China fragt gerade mal den Preis an. Schade ist, dass die Beschriftung (noch) in Landessprache ist. Es wird aber sicherlich Exportversionen geben.

Das Design erinnert mich irgendwie an ein Mittelding aus den aktuellen Meridian und Classé Komponenten, nett anzuschauen...

Wo kommen denn die Infos her? Google spuckt nix aus.

Und hier der Preis für die Kombi C-V1 und VS-150: Zusammen für 900,- EURO (!) nicht US$ derzeit in Shanghai erhältlich. Das ist aber der Preis aus dem Hifi-Laden, nicht von Exporteuren! Weiss nicht, welche Infos Tim oder Sherman haben.

Ich habe mir erstmal den CDP JOLIDA J100S geordert, welcher ja die OEM Version des LUA Cantilena SE/SEL ist.
