Audiospace AS-6M300 SE monoblock

Hello!

Asked about the mexing and Melody monoblock i another thread.

Have got good recomendations from a seller about the Audiospace AS-6M300 SE monoblock.

According to him is this a Japanese brand, with good reputation i Japan (asia) Are sold in USA too with a pretty good rewiev in 6moons.

What do you think about these monoblocks, anyone heard, know anything about them?

Hello mangew,

as far as I know, Audio Space is a Hong Kong based company with production in mainland China which let build their amps in the past from Cayin/Spark and MeiXing.
The design from the AS-6M300 SE monoblock looks pretty like MeiXing.
But their finest amp is the Reference One:

Erzkanzler: Of course a missunderstanding before. They are chinese i did know. But they were pretty known as nice tube amps i Japan according to my contact.

They are the only not Japanese brand that has been on front cover in the magazine "Japanese Audio" which can tell they were unusual and popular in Japan.

They also known from the movie "Internal Affairs" where the listen to Audio Space amps in a shop

How good they really are doesn´t know but they seem to have higher price than Mexing for example.

Vintage64: I believe the ASL monoblock it too expensive. My budget is about 1500 EUR. Probably fine monoblocks.

the audiospace items are really fine quality.one of my monos failed
after 1 year but has been repaired in the meantime.if your budget is
around 1500 euros take a look at ebay.de there are currently running
some interessting items.

I can say i have been offered the Audiospace AS-6M300 SE monoblock for about 1500 EUR, good price?

I have also been offered the Mexing MC3008-A monoblock for 1570EUR, think a nice price too.

hm if you are in need of the money that a look at the m-star items currently sold in ebay.de it seems that you can get them for a reasonable pricing.if money is not an issue get yourself the audiospace amps.

The money as long as it is a few 100 EUR is not the most important, most important is that it´s a good amp that can run and deliver good power and music on my 87db 3 way speakers.

The seller i have been negotiating with and sells Audiospace have recommended me his KT88 based monoblock instead when he think they deliver better power to my speakers and music taste that is Rock in all kinds and blues.

would you tell me what speakers you have?

I'm also thinking about buying some stronger tube monos for my bass columns and now decided spontaneously Audiospace to be another interesting brand for me following this aim.
So thanks for this thread

I'm just not sure if the 88T are strong enough for my speakers.

As you mentioned the Meixing 3008A to be well priced with 1570 I have to tell you, that I saw them very much lower priced.

mangusta: Hell, of course i really want to know where the Mexing MC3008-A are sold at a lower price.

I have a 3 way DIY speaker, doesn´t exactly know sensitivity but i think i was somewhere between 86-88db.

They works very well with mu current amp which are the very fine Zell ZD200 Mk II 2*200w (8ohm) transistor amp . A really nice amp that compete with much more expensier amps on the market and i replaced a pre/power combo priced about 5000EUR to this Zell i bought from China for about 1200EUR. Therefore im courious if the chinese tube amp are as good as this amp i have.

My speakers is these, named EALS-3 from the developer that are a professional speaker designer and they are developed, measured and listened to right crossover and sound. I have build them myself from his description.
