Hi,

sorry, as fas as I know we have no experience with this unit.
But as I remember, it used the 6922/ECC88 tube-family, which is well knowned for it's fine soundstage.
There are some tests in the web:

Martin, thanks for your reply.

I was wondering if I could improve my NAD 521's sound with that unit, now that I have the ShengYa T3/T300.

Best regards!

I once owned a MF X-10D

It was always a great pleasure to listen with this particular device as I regarded it as the missing link between my old CDP and integrated amp.
So, there are some reviews (93!) on www.audioreview.com

The second one is written by myself.

Concerning your NAD521. I'd definitely say that this is an upgrade when implementing the X-10D!!!

Thorsten, thanks for your help (and for your review!!).

But i wonder if the X10-D would bring any noticeable benefits, now that I have the T3/T300 with tubes.

Thanks!

By accident, I got the SA-T3 and SP-T300 as well. Another user here in this forum owns this combination as well.

Yet, I bought a new CDP a few months ago (Cambridge Audio Azur 640C); so that I got rid of the X-10D, but with your NAD521 you'll get IMHO a serious improvement in sound quality.

You should also consider the new X-10D V3 that has been out for a couple of months now. People are overwhelmed by its sonical performance.

Torsten

That would be Tpoint also, if I remember! :D

It's that I've come accross an opportunity of buying a X10-D. I think I'll be able to listen to it next weekend.

Regards!
