Hallo,

will mir für den Player ein Netzkabel bestellen und nun fragt mich der Händler:

"Jetzt muss ich nur noch wissen wie der Kaltgeräteeingang (Erdpin oben oder unten) des Players sitzt und wo die Phase ist (links oder rechts) oder ist der Player nicht ausgephast." :roll:

Bin absoluter Techniklaie! Kann mir jemand helfen?

Hallo;

habe mit grooooßem Interesse eure Beiträge auf den vorangegangenen 88 Seiten gelesen, da ich mir auch einen Cayin 17 A zugelegt habe und gern den mir etwas zuuu weichen Sound straffen würde.

So wie es sich las, sollte ein Wechsel der OPA's und Röhren dazu genügen - da ich aber sowas noch nie gemacht habe, dazu 2 kurze Fragen :?: :

a) Die hier so empfohlenen OPA627BP von Burr Brown sind anscheinend weltweit im Moment kaum erhältlich. Ich habe allerdings ein Angebot, OPA627BP von Texas Instruments zu kaufen, die aber nicht als Audio-OPA's sondern als OV-DIFET gekennzeichnet sind:

# RoHS konform: Ja
# Hinweis:
# Verstärker, IC Typ:Operation
# Verstärker, Zahl der:1
# Spannung, Nennversorgung +:15V
# Spannung, Eingang Offset max.:250µV
# Anstiegszeit:55V/µs

passt das, und klingen die auch so wie die anderen, oder handelt es sich gar um dasselbe?

b) Ich möchte lediglich die symmetrischen Ansclüsse nutzen. Wieviele OPA's und Röhren brauch ich dafür? Für unsymmetrischen Betrieb wurde ja beschrieben, daß man zumindest 2 Röhren rauslassen kann...

Texas Instruments hat BB übernommen, die neuen OPAs laufen jetzt unter TI vom Band.

Bei symmetrischer Verkabelung müssen ALLE OPAs und Röhren gewechselt werden.

for XLR/symetric output, actually, you need only 4 Single OPA to change at differential section since the last two -single ended- are reserved for RCA output...

I have choosen Siemens CCa as tubes among BVA, Telefunken "diamond", Amperex made in Holland PQ and buggleboy, CV2492 Mullard...

About AOP, we are interested for replacing original OPA604 by:
- AD825 with adaptator for DIP
- AD843
- OPA134
- OPA627
- OPA227

As I am concerned on my system and a friend's one, but we have to go into the matter closely actually: I prefer a combination of OPA627 or OPA627/AD843... You have got all the scheme based on PCM1792 on that post and are invited to bring all your experiment to help each other to improve that CDP.

NB: I use(d) FA-Gold in RCA Cable ( as well as the Rosevoix RCA, Galileo sommer 238 plus) which I think is more "analogic" between the CDP and amplifier.
FS-Gold on HF speaker and Rosevoix on LF speaker as I took off the strap...
I am buying a MingDA Preamp M7-CR to improve my system...but I don't think I would use FA-Gold RCA between mingda and A-88t as they sound to "smooth" at this place I think...

Here is the scheme (according to 00940, momois and flom):

So, I changed the OPA604 on #1, #2 & #3 sockets on that configuration by:
- AD843 full
- AD843 on #1 and OPA627 on #2 & #3
- OPA627 full
- OPA134 on #1 and OPA627 on #2 & #3
As we didn't touch to dualchips under red heatsinks: AD827/NE5532...

Stimmt, man kommt auch bei XLR mit einer Teilbestückung aus.

Yes according to the "Plan", just change chips #2 and #3 for each channel if you need only XLR ouput; FORGET chip #1, you don't need it... :beer

NB: Don't try to do it since it is very difficult to get on with this combination. But, if you want to improve your Cayin CDP to nearly similar results, try LM4562NA in stead of AD827 under red heatsink,
